UK UPA meets Pecha Kucha Night

We are back for our July event, hosted at SapientNitro on Thursday 15th July 2010. This time round we are bringing you the amazingly inspirational Pecha Kucha 20x20 Night and opening the floor for an entertaining multi-presenter night.

For those unfamiliar with Pecha Kucha, it involves a succession of rapid presentations: 20 slides or images allowed with 20 seconds per slide. There is no rest for the wicked and/or inspirational!

Thak you to PechaKucha for allowing us to use the format for this event - devised and shared by Klein Dytham architecture.

We can confirm the following speakers on the night - a couple more to be confirmed. Please note this list does not necessarily represent a running order!

Terry Ma & Mehul Hirani, User Experience Architects, LBi
Badgers, bagels and big ideas - a day in the life of a User Experience Architect (EA) at LBi

Martina Schell, Director of User Experience & Creative, Travel Match

About Pecha Kucha Night

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.

It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit chat"), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
